of Austrian
History
When oil prices skyrocketed in 1973, Austria reacted with measures including the “energy holidays” for schools in the month of February. No oil was actually saved during this week because ski tourism boomed. Here, you can see what students did during this holiday week! We look forward to receiving your own memories on film and in photos. You can then see your video/picture the next time you visit our exhibit: “Into the Unknown – Austria Since 1918” on the Heldenplatz in Vienna. This online exhibit creates a unique mosaic each time. Every click of a plus expands the picture. Videos and pictures that are side by side, also have something in common.
